it's not everyday when a very nice genuine vintage 50s harvey berin pink tulle layered skirt falls on your doorstep. i could not believe my luck when i found this piece online. so apart from the museum-smell, it's amazing how good it looks even after 50+ years. good craftsmanship goes a long way. and i am somewhat sad that so much cannot be said for todays outsourced machine-mass-produced fast fashion, even in the case of some highly reputable designers.

What an amazing find lady and that is SO TRUE! I've been thinking the exact same thing a lot lately and it is sad. Especially for what we pay for it and it's not some, it's most! We will never find quality like that these days.
