ah yes. another chapter in my sewing and haberdashery adventures. last weekend my friend hannah and i went on a little roadtrip to spotlight. i had no idea what i would be able to make with a ball of yarn. no idea whatsoever how i would even begin any sort of knitting. but my trusty scissors and the sewing machine saved what would undoubtedly have been a complete fail. presente: the hairy cape.

i love being shown a creation such as this one - something that seems quite simple; but leaves me wondering why had i not thought of it earlier ?
i found myself channelling both yourself in this post as well as Gail Reid recently, and created a similar twin cape. i hope you don't mind - i'm not usually someone to copy so blatantly, but its perfect.
i don't think i will post any photos of it out of embarrassment, but i have just bought some cream / white wool so that i will soon have one in black as well as white. thankyou for the inspiration.
