in january i pre-ordered a pair of cream tailored TBA pants from maximillia.com. paid my deposit, and waited patiently until they came in stock. and waited. and waited. and became impatitent. then i saw the arnsdorf crystal structured pant. and as luck and love would have it, the store allowed me to put my pre-order dollars toward these instead.

up until now i had not explored jade sarita arnott's fabulous wears, inspired by both industrial and natural structure... but am now in complete awe.

my mother has had this dress in her wardrobe for as long as i can remember, via many a rampage through her closet. although my general approach to flower print - or anything with a hint of colour - is not without a tiny bit of apprehension, i decided for one day playing grown up ladies dress-up is ok. even though this particular dress is not something i would say is traditionally a timeless classic...the print! the colour! it does, nonetheless, feel so right now (chloe? miu miu?).
